The cars are fabulous! 1/3 of all the Ferraris in china are sold in this city. We had fun oooing and awwing over all the awesome dealerships. The shopping here is crazy! I asked our guide how the people are so wealthy. He said they are business owners. Private businesses. We talked about how in school we were led to believe the government owned everything. He laughed and said 20 yrs ago! M said she is still learning that in school. Interesting. Being here will really open your eyes!
Cassie has been precious:) when she first saw us she ran yelling mommy daddy. We scooped her up with big tears in our eyes! She was loving to her siblings and all was great until she realized her caretaker was leaving. Then things turned. Tears were flowing. She was screaming. After a while her caretaker tore herself away and pushed her (sweetly) to hubby. He held her and I held her hands. She started pinching him and fighting. She is 45 lbs of TOUGH! So sad. Guide was translating. Cassie was yelling no! I don't want! No! I don't want to go! No! Over and over again. We were all crying. Even G:(
Ten minutes though and it was all over. She was running around hotel happy and sweet. I have been sleeping with her. She wakes up a few times a night saying, mommy? She will grab my hand or fix my covers. Total sweetie.
Cassie gets carsick. The other kids are completely grossed out!!!! She puked all over! I don't know how to fix it. Wondering if she will grow out of it the more car trips she takes? Got to find some Dramamine. We have a lot of van and plane rides left to take here.
She LOVES to eat. She said she is not a big eater. Lol. I need to take a picture of her buffet plate!
Love Everyone. Miss Everyone.

ReplyDeleteWow Julie your doing a great job blogging the emotions that are flowing. I agree with Melanie, I am sure it is scary for her to leave behind what she is comfortable with. But it sounds like Charlie and you are providing Love and patience.
